a little about me

I began my fiber art journey through crochet. my beautiful mother-in-law taught me how to crochet before I had my endometriosis surgery so that I would have something to do while I rested & healed. that changed my life. I quickly fell madly in love with the craft; like it became my entire personality. I wanted to start dyeing yarn; but didn’t feel like it was something I could do. cue the intrusive thoughts. my mother ended up passing away in december & losing her changed my perspective on basically everything; so, one day I left a job that was causing a lot of stress in my life & with the support of my husband & my beautiful friends I took the plunge. my goodness it has been quite the adventure already.

I get to create & make beautiful things & those beautiful things get to inspire others to also create & make beautiful things. what an honor it’s been.

this world is a dark & scary place filled with pain & stress; I just want to make it a little brighter & a little lighter.

I just want to inspire others to chase their dreams & slow down & soak up the precious moments we have on this earth.

thank you for joining me on this adventure

thank you to my community for embracing me.

I’m just a girl in her kitchen with a pot & some pans learning as I go & doing my best with what I have.

I can’t wait to see all the lovely things you all create with yarn that I have poured my soul into.

also, each batch is made to the sounds of the gilmore girls & sometimes true crime because I'm just a girl.

love you all

thank you from the bottom of my soul
